Time is flying past! It's been busy. We need rain! Here’s some highlights!
My Better Bones and Balance class is a go!! 20 students is ALOT in the room I’m in. There were a few students that had BBB experience from 3 years ago. I started slow because I was new and the other students were new and also retirement age - I did NOT want to send them home achy / break-y.
When 2 students dropped the class they said, “It was a little slow for them.” “BUT they said, “But don’t cancel the class — there’s a lot of women in there that need this!!” Amen Sister!!
Class has settled in, I’m moving faster and we’re having fun. And I’m in pretty good shape for 74!! Water aerobics 6 days a week; Taichi on Monday and Wednesday and BBB on Tuesday and Thursday. Walking 2-3 miles a day. All carefully planned so we have the weekends to sleep in / go see the grandkids, etc!!
My hand has headed back to ‘normal’ and I’ve been quilting a little! Making a quilt for a cat(!) right now. Bet you never thought I would say that!!! A lifeguard at the pool has a new kitty!
On Sunday mornings I usually walk into Harris Beach (less traffic whizzing by) AND walking our other favorite beaches every low tide!! AND I’ve been taking photos of the beaches from a different perspective. See if you can spot what park they are from. I love walking the beaches!!
Beach #1 We discovered while in Brookings on vacation! Again and again! There's a L-O-N-G path down to the beach. With a great 'gateway' at the bottom and welcoming driftwood.
Path down
Driftwood forming the entrance / exit.
Beach #2 A favorite of all of us!! It changes every week!! More sand, less sand, more 'lakes' on the beach. Magical!!
More photos later!! Thanks for checking in!!
